Getting started with Denada
Welcome to Denada! This guide walks you through everything you need to go from signing up to exporting your first email template. The whole process takes just a few minutes.
Sign up or log in
Head to app.heydenada.com and create an account using your email address or single sign-on. If your organization has already set up Denada, you may receive an invitation link that takes you straight to your team.
Create or join a team
After signing in, you will either land on an existing team or be prompted to create one. A team is your shared workspace where templates, images, and libraries live.
- Create a team — give it a name, invite colleagues by email, and you are ready to go.
- Join a team — if a teammate has already invited you, accept the invitation and you will see the team’s content immediately.
You can always invite more people later from the team settings page.
Upload your first images
Before you start creating, it helps to have a few brand images on hand. Open the Image library from the left sidebar and upload logos, product photos, or lifestyle images.
- Click Images in the sidebar.
- Drag and drop files or click Upload to browse your computer.
- Add descriptions so Denada can find and use them in your templates.
Images you upload are available across every chat and template in your team.

Create your first project
The fastest way to create a template is through a conversation with Denada.
- Click + New in the top-right corner and choose New project.
- If your team has multiple libraries, select which library to use.
- You will land on a “What would you like to make?” screen. The more context you give Denada, the better the result — you can type a prompt, attach a creative brief or reference images, paste a URL, or use voice input.
- The assistant will generate a draft and show you a live preview. Keep chatting to refine the copy, layout, or tone until you are happy with the result.
If you prefer to skip the chat and build manually, click Skip and go to editor.
Denada works best with context. Uploading a creative brief, attaching reference images, or pasting a URL alongside your prompt will produce a much better first draft.

Refine in the editor
As you chat, Denada builds your template and it appears in the preview area on the left side of the screen. Chat and the editor live side by side in the same project view, so there is no separate “save” step.
Switch to the other sidebar tabs to make precise adjustments:
- Edit — edit individual blocks and their parameters (text, images, buttons, colors).
- Variations — generate variations for A/B testing.
- Comments — leave comments for your team.
- Options — access template settings and version history.
You can also switch between desktop and mobile preview modes.

Export or share
Once your template is finalized, click the Share button in the editor toolbar. From there you can:
- Publish to web and share a preview link so stakeholders can review and comment without a Denada account.
- Send a proof email to test how the template looks in real inboxes.
- Export as an image, PDF, ZIP, CSV, JSON, or to Figma.
- Copy or save the HTML for pasting directly into your email service provider.
- Export to a connected platform like Iterable, Braze, or HubSpot.
